Season 1
The first season of the series Inuyasha started on 31st August 2002. In the first episode Kagome is dragged into an ancient well by a demon centipede. She finds herself in a forest where she is arrested by strange villagers and taken to the high priestess Kaede who realizes that Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo. Kaede then tells Kagome about the Jewel of Four Souls and how she had pinned Inuyasha. In the final episode of the season that was aired on 21st January 2003, Inuyasha and his friends have to rescue the real water God and destroy the demon that has replaced the deity and is asking for child sacrifices.
