Moneca Stori is a Canadian voice actress. She was interested in acting since she was a child. She started her career with young audience productions when she performed for thousands of children in theatre. She has also appeared in the Jessie award-winning Free Willy Shakespeare which was produced by Vancouver Theatre Sports. She also performed her one woman show in the Vancouver International Comedy Festival.
She has done voice over for numerous animated shows and movies. Her prominent credits on television include Dragon Ball Z, The X-Files, X-Men: Evolution, Tottoko Hamutaro, Sabrina’s Secret Life, Mary-Kate and Ashley in Action, Monster Farm: Enbanseki no himitsu, Hollywood Off-Ramp and The Outer Limits besides doing the voice over for the character of Kagome in Inuyasha. She has also worked in films like The Delicate Art of Parking, Wake-Up Call, Dark Water, The Stickup, Tempting Fate and Junkers Call Here etc. In addition she has also written and produced Wake-Up Call.
Role in Inuyasha
In Inuyasha, she has done the voice over for the character of Kagome. Kagome is a modern day girl who is unaware of her past life until she is accidentally transported back in time to an era when Japan was ruled by lords and inhabited by demons. She then goes on an exciting journey with her new ally and lover from past life, Inuyasha to recover the pieces of the Jewel of Four Souls. The sacred jewel which possesses magical powers has been accidentally broken into thousands of pieces which have scattered all over Japan.
