Kirby Morrow is a versatile actor who was born and bought up in Canada. Besides being an excellent voice actor, he is a great stand up comedian, and a skilled television and stage artist. He studied theatre and during that time developed a knack for producing different voices. He currently resides in Vancouver, Canada.
Kirby has appeared in various roles across various shows and movies. On television he has worked on shows like Dragon Ball Z, Stand Against Fear, Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation, B.R.A.T.S. of The Lost Nebula, The Outer Limits, Total Recall 2070, Special Unit 2, Seven Days, Rockman.exe, X-Men: Evolution and Stargate: Atlantis etc. besides doing the voice over for the character of Miroku in Inuyasha. In addition he has also worked in movies like Glimpse, Bones, Ark, Broken Saints, Kong, Jerry’s Day and Sombrio etc. In addition he has also written, edited and directed The Boxing Day Classic, besides composing for it.
Role in Inuyasha
In Inuyasha, he has done the voice over for the character of Miroku. He is a monk who exorcises and exterminates to earn his living. He has a black hole in his hand which is the result of a curse of Naraku on his grandfather and his descendants. The hole absorbs anything that is not fixed to the ground irrespective of its mass. He flirts openly with women and asks every attractive woman to be the mother of his children. He eventually marries Sango but that does not stop him from continuing with his flirtatious nature.
